Daniel W Fletcher AW18 - LFWM
Daniel W Fletcher's collections are a study into the masculine beauty and this season we saw the soft side of that concept. Ever present was immaculate tailoring and luxurious materials but this season we had a softer take. Shirts laid open, teasing a tasteful amount of chest, and light scarves and sweaters draped loosely around the neck suggesting a laid back comfort afforded to those who don't have to brave any harsh weather. A definite seller will be shorts which gave the air that the model had just finished a football game on an autumnal Wednesday afternoon at Eton.
The collection will appeal to those who have adopted the new smart streetwear style, and may convince others to do so as well. The classical clean look will definitely appeal to those who don't want to seem "bait" on social media but still want a fashion edge. The clothes would combine well with Raf Simons' latest collection for Calvin Klein, and with the deconstructed styling, would even go in a fit that's the classy side of Balenciaga and Vetements. Expect to see it creep up more and more on your Instagram feed.
