Facetasm AW18 - PMFW
Facetasm is paradoxically on the consumable side of avant garde, with a hint of streetwear thrown in there for the contemporary young fashion follower. This season, as Luka Sabbat watched from the audience, the models adorned themselves with a crazy smile as tears wetted their cheeks, which set precedence for clothing in bright colours, textures on textures and voluminous silhouettes.
Even though the styling was crazy, the pieces individually would be very wearable, and would be easy to style into an outfit, with some branding that would give a focus or accent to a photo, without overpowering it. Facetasm could be a great brand to pick up some clothes from for layering too, seeing how the styling of the show relied on the different lengths and cuts to create a modern nomadic look.
